MÂCHÉ - Owners story 

My name is Chevonne, well known as Chevy. I grew up around horses, having sat on a horse before I could walk and I was instantly hooked. Horses were certainly never a ‘phase’ for me.

I was lucky enough to get my own pony when I was about eight years old, when my family knew I’d never quit obsessing over having my own. I went through the ranks starting from pony club, to doing some bigger show jumping and hack shows. 
When I was about 14 I found my love for the western performance horse industry where I worked extremely hard from a young age to bring home multiple national and state titles over the years. I stayed with trainers to learn whilst I was still in school and begun training some of my own, I knew continuing down the path of the horse industry was exactly what I wanted to do.

I was then found by a world champion trainer in the USA, I was lucky enough to be invited over to the States and compete in many top level shows, one including the world show, brining home a bronze world show title. I had always wanted to look into other aspects of horse businesses and they’re were endless paths to take. I in fact looked into saddlery and leatherworks.

When I came back to Australia I continued to train horses within my own business but it wasn’t until I came across Mâché that I knew it was the perfect opportunity. Mache had a small range of horse products to begin with, I did my research and purchased the business at 18 years old. I still continue to train horses and own Mâché, we now have a huge range and I continue to be passionate about providing the absolute upmost quality of products for everyone in the horse industry. I aspire to bring the Mâché brand above and beyond into the equine and canine world.
